Our certified tutors provide 1-on-1, personalized, live, interactive, online tutoring. Our motive is to provide online tutoring to help improve grades of our students and build confidence through practice. Our mentors organize and plan learning sessions based on individual student’s needs. Also, progress through learning sessions is recorded by the mentors. This provides an enriching learning environment to the students. We utilize modern technology and effective teaching techniques to deliver lessons to our students. Our mentors are certified and experienced in education modality.
Henceforth, in this document, WebMentor4You shall be referred to as “WM4Y”.
Usage Terms
WebMentor4You is an international ed-tech company with headquarters in Ottawa, Canada, and branch office in India. Our certified tutors provide 1-on-1, personalized, live, interactive, online tutoring. Our motive is to provide online tutoring to help improve grades of our students and build confidence through practice. Our mentors organize and plan learning sessions based on individual student’s needs. Also, progress through learning sessions is recorded by the mentors. This provides an enriching learning environment to the students. We utilize modern technology and effective teaching techniques to deliver lessons to our students. Our mentors are certified and experienced in education modality.
Changes to Terms of Use
WM4Y reserves the right to change these Terms of Use at its sole and absolute discretion, from time to time, with or without notice to you. It is entirely your responsibility to keep yourself updated with these changes. If the Terms of Use version has changed, it will pop up when a student logs in. The most current version of the Terms of Use will supersede all previous versions. Your use of the WM4Y Website or continued use of our service after changes are made means that you agree to be bound by such changes.
User Content
Any material, information or communication you upload using our facility will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. You automatically grant us permission to use the material/information/communication for our use whether for dissemination, quality control, curriculum development, or marketing our services. The actual tutorial sessions will be recorded and archived for quality assurance purposes.
How WebMentor4You Works
Registration
To use the Services, you will need to register on the site, pay any applicable fees, and obtain an account, and password. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account(s), and password(s) and for all activities and liabilities associated with or occurring under your account(s), and password(s). You agree to (a) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the Service’s registration form (such information being “Your Data”), (b) maintain and promptly update Your Data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. You agree not to use the site, the Services or the Company Content to recruit, solicit, or contact in any form Tutors or potential Consumers for employment or contracting for a business not affiliated with us without our advance written permission or use the site to put up any views whether or not you believe in them.
Scheduling of Sessions – Student Responsibilities
Schedule for the session will be shared with the student in advance. You have to log in at the scheduled time to the session. In case of any changes required to the planned schedule, the student can request for a change before the program starts (Refer point no 2 below for timelines). The changes will be incorporated upon mutual agreement and on the availability of tutors.
Non-attendance at a session or cancellation without providing advance notice of at least 48 hours’ notice will be not be allowed and the sessions will be treated as a “consumed”. Cancellation for emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be supported by proof of such emergency (doctor’s report, etc). Apart from one regular session cancellation or rescheduling allowed per month, only 1 emergency cancellation will be considered on compassionate grounds per month. Students are expected to log in on time for all scheduled sessions. The tutor will end the session if the student does not show up within 15 mins of the session start time. And, the session will be considered as a consumed session.
Tutors are always required to be present in the session at the time of the start of the session. In case of a delay from the tutor, the student can log out of the session after waiting for 15 mins. This session will be rescheduled based on the tutor’s availability. Please send an email to WM4Y on support@webMentor4You.com with the subject line – Tutor missed the class.
Rescheduling of sessions – by students
A student is given 1 opportunity per calendar month to reschedule a session. This means that a student can place a request to reschedule a class once a month without penalties, only if such reschedule request is placed 48 hours in advance of the scheduled session.
Every reschedule thereafter, during the same calendar month will result in a reduction in the session credit. This means that this sessions will be considered as “consumed” by WM4Y.
Rescheduling of sessions – by tutors
Our tutors are strictly informed to be prompt and punctual for their classes, however, they may take leave at times due to personal emergencies.
If the reschedule request from the tutor comes at least 72 hours before the session starts, the session will be rescheduled to the end of the lesson plan and the student will be informed accordingly.
If a request is made by the tutor less than 72 hours of the start of the session, it will be considered as a session missed by the tutor.
During exam or other critical times, the student can choose a substitute tutor from our list of alternate tutors for their unconsumed session.
Technical Issues
Self-Checks: Before sessions begin, please ensure you have a laptop/desktop (Minimum: Intel i3 processor, 8GB RAM, webcam). a Headphone with good quality Mic (No earphone) and good Internet connection (Minimum 2 Mbps download speed).
This must be available throughout the session to support the live session.
If multiple devices are connected to a single network/WiFi, it is the student(s)’ responsibility to ensure enough bandwidth is available for the session.
Student Tech Issue: If there is any connectivity issue at student’s end and the issue is not resolved and the problem persists on student’s side for more than 15 minutes, a scheduled session will be deemed as consumed. While working towards a resolution during the first 15 minutes, the student must send an email to support@webMentor4You.com to inform them of the problem.
Tutor Tech Issue: If there are any connectivity or technical glitches at the tutor’s end, the student needs to wait for 15 mins for the tutor to re-join. In case the session does not resume in 15 mins, the student may then send an email to WM4Y at support@webMentor4You.com with the subject line – “Connectivity issue lost class”. The session will be rescheduled.
Tutor Changes
The student will be given the opportunity to request for a new tutor after consuming 2 sessions with a tutor and before consuming 4 sessions, in case of dissatisfaction with the current tutor. If a tutor leaves WM4Y for personal reasons, WM4Y reserves the right to assign a new tutor of similar capabilities.
If student wants to request for a new tutor, please send an email to WM4Y on support@webMentor4You.com with the subject line – Tutor change request.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription to WM4Y only before starting the 5th session. Cancellation will be subject to our refund policy.
If student wants to request for a new tutor, please send an email to WM4Y on support@webMentor4You.com with the subject line – Cancel the subscription.
Refund Policy
Students who have consumed more than 4 sessions will not be eligible for any refund.
Students who have consumed less than 4 sessions and are not satisfied with the services, can request for a refund of the remaining unconsumed sessions.
All refunds will be processed to the same mode of payment method used while making the purchase. All transaction charges will be deducted before a refund is made.
Billing
By using the WM4Y service, you are expressly agreeing that we are permitted to bill you the relevant fees, for your use of the WM4Y service. As used in these Terms of Use, “billing” shall indicate either a charge or debit, as applicable, against your Payment Method, including a checking account, where applicable. The fee will be billed when you purchase the sessions.
Payments are made solely for the courses purchased. No course changes are allowed.
Pricing
WM4Y reserves the right to change prices without advance notice and, to offer promotions periodically to certain group of customers and thus not available to all customers. Prices for the current subscription may not change but can change for subsequent subscriptions. Offers on a particular subscription may not be valid for subsequent subscriptions.
Package Validity
A minimum number of sessions per course is 10 sessions. Following table shows the validity of number of sessions per course.

All sessions are non-transferrable and are meant to be consumed for the course that student paid for.
For paid session which are yet to be consumed after validity period (Refer validity table above), student will be intimated through calls/emails. In case of no response from students within 5 days of notification, all the unconsumed sessions will be considered as consumed.
Account Access; Identity Protection
In order to provide you with the ease of access to your account, WM4Y will place a cookie (a small text file) on any computer from which you access the WM4Y Website. This cookie is used to identify you throughout the WM4Y Website. This cookie will be automatically destroyed when cookies are cleared. You are responsible for updating and maintaining the truth and accuracy of the information you provide to us relating to your account.
You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer or mobile device. Users of public or shared computers or unprotected mobile devices should log out at the completion of each visit to the WM4Y Website.
If you find that you’re a victim of identity theft and it involves a WM4Y account, you should notify customer service. Then, you should report this instance to all your credit card issuers, as well as your local law enforcement agency. WebMentor4You reserves the right to place any account on hold anytime with or without notification to the subscriber in order to protect itself and its partners from what it believes to be fraudulent activity. WM4Y is not obligated to credit or discount a membership for holds placed on the account by either a representative of WM4Y or by the automated processes of WM4Y.

All content included on the WM4Y Website and delivered to subscribers as part of the service, including text, graphics, logos, designs, photographs, button icons, images, audio/video clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of WM4Y, or its suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of WM4Y and protected by the U.S. and international copyright laws. Content shall not be reproduced or used without express written permission from WebMentor4You, or its suppliers. You agree not to decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble any software or other products or processes accessible through the WM4Y Website, not to insert any code or product or manipulate the content of the WM4Y Website in any way that affects the user’s experience, and not to use any data mining, data gathering or extraction method. WM4Y reserves the right to terminate your membership hereunder if WM4Y, in its sole and absolute discretion, believes that you are in violation of this paragraph, such violations including the copying of content provided to you by us or the copying or other unauthorized use of our proprietary content. WM4Y reserves its rights to claim damages from you and/or treat any violation of the terms hereunder as criminal breach of trust. The trademarks, service marks and trade dress of WM4Y may not be used or reproduced without prior written approval from WM4Y and may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not affiliated with WM4Y, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers, in any manner that dilutes the rights of WM4Y, or in any manner that disparages or discredits WM4Y or hurts the sentiments of a third party. Service Testing
From time to time, we test various aspects of our service, including service levels, plans, promotions, and pricing, and we reserve the right to include you in or exclude you from these tests without notice.
Electronic Communication
By using the WM4Y service, you consent to receive electronic communications from WM4Y. These communications will include notices about your account (e.g., shipping and receiving e-mails and other transactional information) and information concerning or related to our services, such as featured content or other announcements, or offerings. These communications are part of your relationship with WM4Y and you receive them as part of the WM4Y subscription. Conduct
You may only access the site and use the Company Content and the Services for lawful purposes. (viii) You also agree not to use any abusive or foul language with the representatives /tele-callers of WM4Y.
Limitation on use
You must be 18 years of age or older to subscribe to the WM4Y service. While individuals under the age of 18 may utilize the service, they may do so only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Unless otherwise specified, the content on the WM4Y Website is for your personal and non-commercial use and we grant you a limited license to access the WM4Y Website for that purpose. You may not download (other than through page caching necessary for personal use), modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, duplicate, publish, license, create derivative works from, or offer for sale any information contained on, or obtained from, the WM4Y Website without our express written consent.
